The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc. (AmCham) is a private, independent, non-profit association founded in Manila in 1902. It was incorporated on July 3, 1920 and organized under Philippine laws.
The Chamber serves as a platform for collaboration among business leaders in the Philippines to achieve shared goals and objectives.
As the oldest American Chamber abroad and the first in Asia, AmCham Philippines is Voice of Business in the country.

AmCham has strategically expanded with chapters in North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to better serve its members across these key regions.
Its operations are overseen by an annually elected Board of Directors comprising ten members, supported by twenty standing committees and four internal committees whose chairpersons and members are chosen from the General Membership. The National Capital Region (NCR) office is staffed by a permanent team, led by the Executive Director, who functions as the Chamber’s full-time executive leader.
The board as their own page publishes it, which includes the officers, the corporate secretary and the ex officio directors alongside the ten elected directors. No portrait is shown for any of them, because the chamber publishes none and a photograph found elsewhere is one the person did not put there for this.

The AmCham North Luzon Chapter initially started as AmCham Central Luzon which was formed in 2015. Its inaugural luncheon meeting was held on August 25 of the same year with US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, Michael Klecheski as Guest Speaker.

AmCham Cebu was initiated by AmCham Makati Executive Director Marsh Thomson in 1987. At that time, Donald M. Moraza of Pillsbury-Mindanao Flour Milling Co. (now Pilmico Foods Corporation) was a member of AmCham Philippines’ Board of Directors as Vice-President (Cebu).

AMCHAM Davao was established on September 08, 1988 through the initiative of Davao City’s 2nd District Representative, the Hon. Congressman Manuel M. Garcia, who served as its first Chapter President.
AmCham is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce of the United States (COCUSA) and the AmChams of Asia Pacific (AAP). It also maintains close liaison with the Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce (ANZCHAM), Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CanCham), European Chamber of Commerce (ECCP), Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI), Korean Chamber of Commerce (KCCP), and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI), as well as the US Chamber of Commerce.
